Clinical Team practices a cosmetic-based care methodology
which consists of three phases:
I. Comprehensive Examination & Diagnosis
We begin by creating a "replica" of your smile which allows us
to study
your dental history in detail. Our fact-finding includes
study models,
electronic bite force and tooth density readings,
gum measurements,
joint vibration analysis, digital radiographs
and photos. During this phase,
we carefully evaluate each tooth,
and consider future options based
on an assessment of the
soundness and stability of your existing oral
structures.
II. Design & Collaboration
With a detailed analysis in hand, we are ready to plan your Smile Makeover. Our design begins
with Your Goals for your smile. We would like to know:
- What do you like about your smile?
- What would you change?
- If you could wave a Magic Wand and have the Smile of Your Dreams,
what would that look like?
Understanding Your Goals is Priority Number One for our Team. When we have
a clear vision of the
desired end result, we can customize a Smile Design Plan
that suits your budget and schedule. We
then work closely with our laboratory and specialty partners to ensure that each element of your
design is planned with your overall health in mind.
III. Transition
With a well-thought out plan in place, we begin your transformation.
Dr. Woollery carefully crafts
your restorations and relays technical instructions
to the Master Ceramist. Every millimeter is
significant in this process; our
objective is to preserve healthy structure as much as possible, and
create
support and balance where it is needed.
Throughout your care, we will pause along the way
to confirm that our results
meet our shared objectives. As part of this process, we often take
advantage
of temporary materials that allow us to "try in" Your Smile and make final selections of
shade, shape and translucency. It is often helpful to have a friend or loved one participate in this
decision process with you.
Once we are satisfied with the "try in", we place the final restorations.
We only use the highest quality materials such as Empress Porcelain to deliver a fully functional
and gorgeous result.
